Group homes are also part of this level of care.  Our professionals work in conjunction with local resources to develop a  strength-based plan to support success for our youth and families.

Responsibilities

  • Based Treatment Services Program
  • Provide evidenced based, individual and group outpatient counseling, treatment and supervision of a caseload of juveniles who are under the supervision of Juvenile Court Services for sexual offenses
  • Work with the Director and members of the Outpatient Grant team to assess and classify level of individual client risk, including supervision needs
  • Use a variety of assessment tools to determine level of treatment and safety concerns for clients on caseload
  • Provide consultation with referring Juvenile Court Officer on progress or concerns regarding referred clients
  • Provide regular staffing of cases with youth, parents and referring Juvenile Court Officer
  • Create a case plan and safety plan for referred clients and update as client progresses through the program
  • Develop a discharge and aftercare plan with clients prior to program completion that includes relapse prevention plan and resources that are available to them
  • Provide testimony in court on treatment updates when requested by referring Juvenile Court Officer
  • Abide by The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (42 USC & 201 et seq.)
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

A four-year degree in a Human Services related field and two years of experience working with at risk youth is necessary.  Preference given to candidates who have experience working with this population of youth.  Successful candidate will also need to become SOTP I or II certified through IBTSA after starting in position, if they do not already have those credentials.
