Mental Health Rehabilitation Technicians (MHRT-1) work in our clients’ homes and the community in our Daily Living Skills Program. They build relationships and trust with their adult clients living with persistent mental health challenges. They assist clients in identifying their goals and interests and support them in actively making progress on their goals. MHRTs act as a role model, may administer medication, assist with personal care, and inspire clients to be as independent as possible, both at home and in the community. They also provide crisis support when necessary.

Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED
- Certification: Staff must be committed to earning their Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician-1 within one year of their date of hire. Staff must complete CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience: One year of experience working with adults in a supervised setting or relevant life experience
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
