Starting wage $12.50/hr Medical Dental and Vision after 30 days. 401K after 90 days w. match program. Paid Time Off after 90 days!

Program Overview:
Sequel Youth and Family Services of Mountain Home is an intensive secured residential treatment facility for boys, ages 10-18, with severe psychiatric, behavioral, and sexual disorders. The boys are sent to our program by DJC and have to complete our program. We have a private school on campus where the boys can continue their education. We offer group and individual counseling as well as basic life skills training. We utilize the Normative Peer Culture model at our program. The program is very structured and during the day the boys will go to school, complete chores, participate in therapy sessions, participate in recreational activities and learn life skills.

Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Group Leader, the Youth Care Worker supervises and assists students in all program related activities using professionally acceptable methods and techniques.
The appropriate candidate will have the: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and student records. Ability to write documentation in student records, routine reports, and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of students and peers. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Schedule:
Days will rotate during the week and shifts available our 3rd Shift (10:00 pm – 6:00 am & 2nd Shift (2:00 pm – 10:00 pm).

Qualifications:
This position requires a High School Diploma and for the applicant to be 21 years of age or older. Experience working with delinquent youth or in the mental health field is desirable. Applicants with equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
