The Job

We are seeking a talented individual to help drive the success of youth in our communities. As a Shift Supervisor you will oversee the safety, supervision, and security of students and team members while the students are participating in services. You will serve as a role model and provide support & structure to the residents and staff in our care.

Daily Duties
• Promote a positive work environment with all team members by communicating effectively and efficiently information needed to assist the students with their treatment/program. This includes checking program issued e-mail on a regular basis and communicating important information in a timely manner.
• Completes annual performance evaluations and counsel’s team members concerning work-related issues or problems by using appropriate methods and documentation.
• Be prepared and participate in one-on-one meetings and various group meeting to teach, train, guide, mentor, coach, and hold accountable team members and/or students using approved program processes (i.e. Treatment team, supervisor, team meetings, etc.).
• Creates, maintains, and instructs appropriate boundaries with students and team members to promote an atmosphere of safety where treatment can be facilitated.
• Work as part of a team to support and follow the Program Vision, Policies, and Procedures along with all student’s treatment plan implementations.
• Follow program daily schedule with outlined structure and deviate when circumstances dictate.
• Turn in required documents by end of shift on students, team members, and/or self
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and compliance standards as they appear in the Employee Handbook, Sequel Youth and Family Services Code of Conduct and Compliance Plan, HIPAA Compliance Policy and Procedure Manual, the Utah State Office of Licensing Code of Conduct and Client Rights, and other policies as they are presented and signed.
• Adheres to the policy and practices of creating, editing, transmission, storage, and disposal of all Protected Health Information (PHI).
Must Haves
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
• Over the age of 21
• 1 year experience in a mental heath related field
• Maturity, empathy and patience
• Be special – Not everyone can do what we do
